“S’’- TYPE CAM BRAKE. Used on rear tandem axle inside wheels on all six models and
pusher axle wheel on M917, M919 and M920.
AIR CHAMBER. Two used on each rear tandem axle of all vehicle models. Spring loaded
brake applies when air pressure drops due to:
1.
compressed air system failure.
2.
engine shutdown.
3.
application of park brakes.
