MALFUNCTION
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE IS LOW
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
A reading of 900 psi (6,205.28 kPa) is only on gage when the hydraulic
controls are in use. For the raising/lowering of the deck, readings will go
down to 300 psi ((2,068.43 kPa) when the lever is disengaged.
The psi will vary due to load. Hydraulic pressures will vary from 300-900
psi (2,068.34-6,205.28 kPa) under normal operation and will reach a
maximum of 900-1,000 psi (6,205.28-7,584.23 kPa) under full load.
Set hydraulic pressure (WP 0077).
MALFUNCTION
HYDRAULIC FLUID LEVEL IS LOW
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If low, consult appropriate TM to fill to proper level.
MALFUNCTION
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SETTING IS INCORRECT
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Disconnect gooseneck from towing vehicle (WP 0005), lowering platform to the ground and
keeping lever engaged until the cylinder dead ends. If psi reads more or less than 300-500 psi,
reset hydraulic pressure (WP 0077).
MALFUNCTION
THROTTLE VALVE IS CLOGGED
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Check throttle valve for obstruction.
a.
If throttle valve is clogged, clean throttle valve (WP 0082).
b.
If throttle valve is not clogged, proceed to next Malfunction.
