electric shock. Remove rings, bracelets, watches, necklaces, and any other jewelry before working around
HET Tractor.
CAU T I ON
Support alternator during bracket removal. Failure to support alternator may result in damage to equipment.
N OT E
Alternator is removed from the bracket only. Do not disconnect the wires when removing the alternator from
the bracket.

Remove alternator (8) from the original alterna-
tor bracket (9) (TM 9-2320-360-20).

Replace alternator bracket.
CAU T I ON
Support alternator during bracket removal. Failure to support alternator may result in damage to equipment.

Remove four screws (10), lockwashers
(11), and original alternator bracket (9)
from engine block (7). Discard lock-
washers and original alternator bracket.
(2)
Install new alternator bracket (12) on
engine block (7) with four new lock-
washers (11) and screws (10).
