TSB 0012 - LATCH PIN RETENTION

This bulletin modifies the door Cam Latches to ensure permanent retention of
the linkage pins.
REQUIRED TOOLS:
1/8" Drill Bit and Drill
1/8" x 3/4" Roll Pin
Hammer
Welder (Option 2 Only)
PROCEDURE:
OPTION 1:
1.) Drill a 1/8" hole through the latch
and pin, 3/4" deep, as shown.
2.) Install the Roll Pin to ensure permanent
retention of the Latch Pin.
3.) Repeat for 2nd Pin.
OPTION 2:
1.) Fillet Weld around the base of both pins.
