TSB 011 Door Cam Latch Installation - 20 DEC 2005
The new dual cam latch will reduce door vibration, improve door durability, and
significantly reduce cab noise.
REQUIRED TOOLS:
Welder
5/16" Drill Bit and Drill
7/16" Wrench & Socket
1/2" Wrench & Socket
Phillips Screwdriver
Touch-up Paint
Sawzall & Metal Cutoff
Wheel
PROCEDURE:
NOTE: Be sure that TSB 006 and TSB
009 have been completed before
proceeding.
1. Remove the original latch mechanism
and outside door handle.
2. Remove the Combat Lock frame by
cutting it off at the three locations shown
in the pictures. Place a thin metal sheet
behind the frame to protect the armor
panel when cutting.
3. Mark the two rectangular frame cutouts
and the centers of the "V" notches on the
door frame per drawing on the next page.
