REMOVAL

dure. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Note orientation of bolts on wheel well blast protection extension panel to aid installation.
1.
With assistance, remove five locknuts (10), washers (11), bolts (13), washers (12), washer plate (9), and wheel well blast
deflector extension (8) from forward mounting plate (17). Discard locknuts.
2.
Remove two locknuts (18), washers (19), bolts (21), washers (20), bracket (7), and hood latch (6) from bracket (5). Dis-
card locknuts.
3.
Remove four locknuts (1), washers (2), bolts (4), washers (3), and bracket (5) from right firewall armor. Discard lock-
nuts.
4.
Remove two bolts (14), washers (16), lockwashers (15), and forward mounting plate (17) from right firewall armor. Dis-
card lockwashers.
