REMOVAL
1.
If equipped, remove nut (2), lockwasher (3), washer
1
(4), and washer bottle fill tube (1) from stud plate (5).

Discard lockwasher.

N OT E
Note orientation of bolts on wheel well blast protection extension panel to aid installation.

With assistance, remove seven locknuts (23), washers (24), bolts (26), washers (25), washer plate (27), and wheel well
blast deflector extension (19) from forward mounting plate (18). Discard locknuts.
3.
Remove two locknuts (13), washers (14), bolts (16), washers (15), bracket (17), and hood latch (12) from bracket (11).
Discard locknuts.
4.
Remove four locknuts (7), washers (8), bolts (10), washers (9), and bracket (11) from left firewall armor. Discard lock-
nuts.
5.
Remove two bolts (29), washers (31), lockwashers (30), nut plate (32), drive shaft plate (6), stud plate (5), and bracket
(28) from left firewall armor. Discard lockwashers.
6.
Remove two bolts (20), washers (22), lockwashers (21), and forward mounting plate (18) from left firewall armor. Dis-
card lockwashers.
