Check operation of interaxle lockout
(M915A2) or all-wheel drive (all except
M915A2) (TM 9-2320-363-10).
Check vehicle response to steering
wheel action. Vehicle should respond
quickly. With vehicle on straight level
ground, lightly hold steering wheel to
check for pull or wander. With vehicle in
motion, free play should be no more than
2 % in. (6.4 cm) In either direction.
Observe how vehicle responds to road
shocks. Shifts, knocks, or constant
bouncing indicate possible malfunctions.
Engine oil must be sampled initially at
90 days of operation, as prescribed by
DA Pam 738-750. Thereafter, It is
sampled semiannually unless AOAP
results Indicate otherwise.
Raise hood and take sample of engine
Start engine and bring to operating
temperature (TM 9-2320-363-10).
