Connectors
•Check terminals atthe ECM engine
harness connector
(both the ECM
and harness side) for damage;
bent, corroded,
and unseated
pins or sockets. Especially
terminals R2 and Y2 of the ECM
connector.

Verify
Repairs
l Turn ignition off.
l Reconnect all connectors.
l Turn ignition on.
l Clear codes.
l Note status of “Check Engine”
light.
l if "Check Engine” light does not
stay on, start engine and run until
“Check Engine” light comes on
or for 1 minute. Stop engine.
l Read historical codes.
