washers (4) and two nuts (3).

Unscrew and remove.
Inspect for:
1. Cracks.
2. Damaged fittings.
Unscrew and remove.
Remove valve (2).
Replace, if necessary.
B. INSTALLATION .
3. Valve (2).
4. Three air lines 1).
C. OPERATIONAL CHECK.
5. Engine.
6. CAB/Brake pedal,
7. Valve (2).
8. Vehicle.
Attach to bracket (6) with
two capscrews (5), two
washers (4) and two nuts (3).
a. Coat threads with liquid
teflon.
b. Screw in and tighten.
Start up (see
TM 9-2320-273-10).
Press down.
Use soap solution to check
for leaks.
Road test. Check for even
If a new valve is installed trans-
fer all components (elbows,
adapters, etc. ) to new valve. Use
liquid teflon on threaded joints.
Second mechanic.
First mechanic. Perform
this step while brake pedal
is pressed down.
